Auction listings that sellers don't have.
This is the 2nd time in the past 45 days that I have bought an item on Ebay and the seller can't send the item because they either don't have it or they sold it before the auction ended. I am now being asked to cancel the order because they can't send it. But Ebay want's me to wait 30 days for the item to arrive before I cancel.
How can I get in contact with a live agent?
And should I report these sellers?

Ebay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee for Buyer Purchase Protection. If you go to your Purchase History and find this item, there should be an estimated delivery date. Once it is one day past that date, open an Item Not Received refund request.
The Seller will have three business days to respond with either a valid tracking number showing its about to be delivered or a full refund. If they do not respond on time, on the 4th day go back to your request and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
Under no circumstances agree to cancel. That takes the blame off the Seller and puts it on you and your account.
Don't let this Seller string you along or convince you to close your refund request.

OP1 year agoThese were purchases for business. Both purchases were for over 5k. I can't wait 30 days to get my money back, I have to find the item elsewhere.
Is there a way I can speak to someone at Ebay and they can look at the chat thread and see that the sellers have asked me to cancel because they don't have the items?

You could message eBay on their Facebook page.
Or go to Help and Contact on eBay and request a call back.
