·2 years agoThat is not a valid reason to force a cancellation under eBay rules. You may contact the seller and beg him/her to cancel your bid before the auction ends, but s/he is under no obligation to do so nor to acknowledge the request, and neither not responding nor responding that it's OK with him/her nor that s/he doesn't know how is among the valid reasons.

"Don't want anymore" is not a valid reason to have your bid removed.
According to Ebay:
When you bid on or buy an item, you're agreeing to the rules we've put in place for our community. A bid is a binding contract that's active until an auction-style listing ends. Once you place a bid, you need to pay for the item if you're the winning bidder.
