Attempted unauthorized use of my debit card to make a purchase, how do I investigate and report this

An attendant /clerk at a store kept my debit card and someone obviously wrote down my name and card information before I returned to pick it up. They tried to make a $205.75 purchase from ebay. Using my transaction info from the bank. How do I find the buyer who tried to make this purchase? I believe it was the store clerk.

Contact your bank to report the fraud. They will need to shut down the debit card in order to avoid any more fraudulent charges and they can issue you a new debit card. They can investigate.
