I attempted to cancel an order within five minutes of placing the order. Well, the shipper didn't respond and by the time they did, they said it's to late to cancel as they shipped the item already; we're talking about an office desk here, how quickly can you ship one? I tried to stop the shipment with FedEx who only stopped and sent back one of two boxes, the other box arrived at my door unannounced. I have messaged the seller for a pick up label and have had no luck trying to get any assistance from eBay. Can anyone PLEASE offer some suggestions???
Respectfully,
Scott H.

Sellers do not have to accept cancellation requests.
First you need to see if the item is returnable. Click on the item in your purchase history. Below the payment methods you will see the seller’s return policy. If they do accept returns, you can request a return through your purchase history.
If the item was sold with no returns, then you cannot return it. The best you can do is get fedex to deliver the missing box, then try to resell it.

OP4 months agoThe seller emailed and said just refuse delivery, don't sign for it. FedEx didn't notify me when they delivered and this order doesn't need to be signed for. I was able to get FedEx to stop shipment and return one of two boxes. The other box arrived. I didn't know FedEx was only stopping one of the two boxes. Anyway, now I have half an office desk shipment. You honestly believe I'll be able to sell half a desk? How do I get ahold of anyone at eBay?

That’s why I said get fedex to deliver the other box to you so that you have the whole thing if the seller does not accept returns.
The seller misled you - refusing delivery voids your eBay money back guarantee protection. Perhaps customer service will consider the seller deceptive and set up a return for you.
