Asking Seller Question
Can I ask a seller what amount they would sell a bid item for? Basically see if there is an amount they would accept as Buy Now?

No, you can't do that. Just place a bid which would be the most you would be willing to spend on the item.
Also, if the listing shows "Make Offer", you can offer an amount and seller can either accept, decline or let the offer expire.
