Asking for phone number and email
Hi I have a buyer that claims item didn’t arrive but there was something different in package I am asking for pics of original packaging and shipping label and last 5 days always a response as to why can’t send pics and asks for my email and phone and I’ve replied that eBay policy will not allow if I can see proof that the claim is valid I have no problem having them return the item that was received and refund it I’m worried about scams and people trying to get information that’s not needed

Just keep requesting that they send the info through eBay and ignore the request for contact info. Explain that they need to open a return, which requires photos.
It could be as simple as they open too many returns, and can no longer request a return through eBay. Do you see anything unusual in their feedback?

OP2 years agoThanks I’ve been asking for photos
and I’m hoping when eBay asks she can send as well. She saying she received a total different item and that mind wasn’t delivered but when I asked for proof of shipping label and box she cannot provide photos
of she sends a pic of incorrect item to eBay though that’s where I’m worried it’ll hurt my profile. I’ve been super kind and trying to work with this person I have no problem refunding if something really happened of course! But I need to see it!

Next request, try explaining that you need the photos to be able to file a mail rifling claim with the post office, and that her PO will probably want to inspect the package.
Definitely don't do anything until she opens a claim through eBay, even if she sends you photos directly.
