Ask ebay to step in on a return
Buyer claims item is not as described. The dress is listed as a jersey knit dress. Item specifics show fabric type is jersey, material is rayon/ spandex. My description states the material is rayon/spandex. There is also a photo of the material contents on the dress. Buyer is stating that I described it wrong and EBay is allowing the return. In our messages, the Buyer admitted that she didn't read the description or notice the material content. She also stated that the dress is too long. I don't accept returns and this shouldn't be allowed. Should I ask EBay to step in or will they side with her anyway?

Mentor11 months agoDon't ask eBay to step in. That will make it worse. Just accept the return and get your item back to resell.
If you ask eBay to step in, they will force the return anyway, you potentially will lose your Final Value Fees and you will get a defect on your account.
These returns sting. I understand. But the consequences of trying to fight it are worse.
Move on to better sales and buyers. Good Luck.
