as the seller, after going to jail for missing court, i had 4 open orders, i was in jail 3 weeks
after a week in the jail i lucked out and the jail sergeant allowed me to access my phone to communicate with the buyers to let them know the ssituaution and that the orders woud be fulfilled when i was released, upon release i couldnt get the packages into the drop off point intil mlk day, which made it so the packages werent picked up for another day... i communicated frequently even offered money back from my personal money to make up for the unfortunate delays in busines due to the circumsstances, i told customer that his packacge ws dropped off and gooing to be on its way., ....thats when ebay issued a refund and i got a neg comment on my profile....ebay gave him th e money back AFTER i already sent the item out...i appealed and they werent hearing me ...so do i just have to sit there and give my item to the buyer who also got his money back,well my money...please i need some guidance

-First, glad the jail time is behind you
-Sadly, eBay works on electronic monitoring of the transaction which means shipping within one's Handling time and delivering within the estimated delivery. Buyers are protected by the eBay Money Back Guaratnee. So even if you eventually shipped the Buyer can file a claim and if you do not upload a valid tracking number showing movement you will lose the claim. You could have contacted eBay on day 4 of the not received claim and ask for an extension, eBay gives 10 days but they don't publish that you can do this.
-You can message the Buyer and let them know you will accept payment of the delivered item either by check to the name and address on the label or via some electronic money transfer system (PayPal or other0. Other than that you can't do anything other then list the loss on your income tax.
