As soon as I list something to sell, as my listing is going on there is already a Watcher.
I understand if someone want to follow you, but this is not the case. Its a little spookly, because early on I would get an email offering to pay the full price, as soon as the listing posted. That has stopped, but this Watcher is as soon as the listing goes up until it is finished. This also can discourage other buyers from bidding, because they have a set amount they are willing to pay. If someone, or ebay management can resolve this, I would appreciate it. Thank you

As a new Seller you can wind up being a target for scammers. When you say you got an email ... do you mean an eBay message instead? What they would try to do it take the transaction off eBay and try to get your personal information like phone number, etc.
Having a Watcher does NOT discourage other Buyers from bidding, not sure where you heard that but it is not a deterrent for other interested parties. There are a lot of Urban Legends out there so please come here with your questions and concerns, there are MANY experienced Buyers and Sellers here to help you separate fact from fiction.
