-If you change the address you will lose your Seller protections on an Item not received claim
-We get that question a lot here and it often stems from a Buyer not updating their address on their account OR when they check out and pay.
-Message the Buyer and let them know eBay expects Sellers to ship to the address on file at the time of the purchase. Advise them they can message back to request a Cancellation which will allow them to update their address information and then purchase the item again. This lets you cancel without a strike on your account because you can use the reason "Buyer requested ..." on the cancellation flow.

Mentor3 years agoNo, do not change the address. Tell the buyer you can't change it, but cancel his purchase and relist for him to buy again with the correct address. When you cancel, select 'problem with address' for the reason.
