I constantly get emails asking for my soc sec number...which I ill not give. Ebay says that As of Jan 1, 2022, the IRS now requires us to file and send a Form 1099-K to everyone who sells $600 or more. That is wrong. Last year the gov put that on hold. When will ebay get their stuff together?

Mentor3 years agoIt doesn't matter whether you get a 1099 or not, you still have to report all income, besides the IRS has access to it anyway if needed. None of this means you owe any tax, just that all income must be accounted for.
