As a buyer disable the immediate payment on auction or best offer
The immediate payment for buyer stinks-I dont even know how to go in and change it, apparently. Tryed to change my pay-pal from bank to a credit card and still took out of my bank account. How do I even check to see the current pay-pal payment method it will use. This is the worst change eBay has come up with. Maybe they are trying to discourage buyers because that is what it has done to me. I will always talk myself out of multiple buys as how do I know the seller will indeed honor combined shipping and refund the extra already charged to me. Awful policy.

Mentor2 years agoSellers control whether a valid payment method is required for bids or offers on those sellers' items.
eBay controls whether each buyer account is subject to those requirements.
Buyers have no direct control over that requirement when making bids or offers for those sellers' items.
You can see which payment method eBay is using in your Payments here:
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list
Which payment method PayPal uses to fund that may be a setting in your PayPal account under Payments.
If not, you can delete that payment option from eBay, and the next time you place a bid or make an offer you should be prompted again for a payment method. If you want to use a specific card, enter that directly into eBay as a Payment method and it should become the default for bids or offers that require a payment method.
