are there any humans that work at ebay that a seller can actually talk? their service is terrible.
I was told via chat that someone from customer service would call in a few minutes,. that was 1 hour ago, I'm so frustrated, I used to be able speak to an agent and solve things quickly, the buyer paid but changed address to were to ship, from Cali to NY, I know ebay does not recommend to ship to any address other than the one on file, I could not get a response from seller until yesterday, with a vague answer to the new address, I want to refund but the shipping time is way over the 2 day I have listed, so because of this address thing, I do want a ding on shipping on time since I never shipped, I have been on Ebay since 2001, I'm not a happy camper, can someone please help.
Thank you

Mentor2 years agoBuyers can change the shipping address at checkout right up until payment is sent. After that, the shipping address for that transaction cannot be changed.
The seller is required to ship to the address that comes with the payment or lose all protection in the event of an "item not received" case. Scammers often send messages urging the seller to ship to another address, so sellers are rightly wary of such requests.
The seller can cancel the transaction and relist to allow the buyer to purchase again and provide the correct address, but sellers are not required to do any of that.
There are many things that might prevent a user from getting a call back from eBay; location issues, VOIP problems, and spam blockers to name a few. If you are unable to get a call back, you may want to try chatting with an agent or contacting eBay via social media.
