Are their any repercussions for a deadbeat buyer?
I had a buyer make a bid that I accepted. After that, no payment and no communication. I sent a number of emails to the buyer. I cancelled the sale after 5 days. I don’t see a way to issue negative feedback to that buyer- and I looked up their eBay stats and it still shows them as 100% positive. Does someone that doesn’t honor their bid just get away with it?

Mentor2 years agoSellers can preemptively block bids, offers and purchases from all users with two or more unpaid item cancellations in the last twelve months by using the Buyer Requirements settings.

So users that have more than two strikes will find themselves unable to make purchases from many sellers.
