Are more buyers exploiting errors in listings/buying w/intent to leave neg feedback for competitors?
We have recently experienced this situation repeating itself. A buyer will leave negative feedback calling the seller a scammer or intentionally deceiving their customers when that is obviously not the case. We document our communications and although sellers can make unintentional mistakes, we find that in most cases the buyer is forgiving or understanding and a happy resolution is reached. Lately, that has not been the case and we have some suspicion that these buyers' intention is to discredit or ruin their competitor's good rating by making a purchase and finding a reason to leave negative feedback.
