Are EBAY Fedex Ground rates really ~70% lower than retail?

I sold an item recently and EBAY says if I print their label for usps ground advantage, it would be 76.75, but if I print EBAY's Fedex Ground label, its only 19.44. Is this accurate? I put in all the dimensions of the box, the package is only 3 lbs, but large because it is a hat. Thanks for insight

I do know that FedEx Smart Post is 70% way slower...:)

A lot less? Check the dimensions and weight. To avoid an upcharge later, I would purchase through PayPal Ship Station instead. You can use any shipper you want; you do not have to use eBay shipping.

If you do use another shipping service, remember to put in the tracking # on eBay. Pirate Ship is another shipping service I have used for postage.
