Are buyers allowed to return for any reason?
If an item is disclosed at not being tested for a particular function and that function does not work, should a seller be required to accept the return?

Mentor2 years agoThere is a huge difference in value between an item that works and an item that doesn't. If the buyer opens a return because the item doesn't work or is not as described, you can either accept the return for a full refund (you'll pay for shipping too) or you can just refund the buyer's payment and allow him to keep the item if the shipping cost to return it is prohibitive or if you don't want it back.
You should always test your items to be sure they function if meant to. If you can't test it for some reason, you need to list the item FOR PARTS ONLY - NON-WORKING (which needs to go in the title and the description).
