Apple Air Pods
It turns out that these Air Pods are not a genuine Apple product. They probably came from China. They're defective.

OP2 years agoThank you for your response. Unfortunately, the seller is no longer on eBay. I have the feeling that he was removed by eBay for deceitful practices, but I'm not sure. When I input the item number that I bought, it's no longer there, nor is the seller.

Mentor2 years agoHi @gbart8571 If it's within the 30 cut-off for claims, you should still be able to file an Item Not Received return even if the seller has been removed by eBay. You should be able to file it from the item in your My eBay. If you cannot, contact eBay customer support. If the seller is marked No Longer A Registered User (NARU) eBay kicked them off, likely because of complaints for selling fakes. If it's past the eBay 30 day cut-off, contact the source of your payment, either PayPal or your credit card. Good luck!

Open a Not As Described claim for a refund. The seller has to provide a pre-paid shipping label, if he wants the item back. https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/return-item-refund?id=4041
LOL, the irony is that genuine AirPods come from China, too.
