Appealing a restriction

Question

.....submitted an offer on 3# similar items not expecting all 3# to be accepted........I chose one, however I did not inform the other sellers........now I am restricted from buying or placing a bid on an item.

I am sorry that happened. I know you have learned this, but offers on eBay are binding, so in the future, wait to see if offer #1 is accepted before making offer #2

1) Has eBay told you that you are restricted? For that you'd need to speak with customer service.

2) Are you trying to place bids and getting a message? Sellers can choose to block buyers with 2 unpaid strikes in the past [ 1-12 months]. Not all sellers do this, and some may only do 1 month, not 12 months.

If it is #2, just keep shopping, you will find sellers who don't have the 2 strike rule, and it will roll off by 12 months.

-- You could also ask a specific seller to "exempt" you from the rules and allow you to bid/buy.
