Appeal denied without reviewing all evidence
Summary: El hilo discute una situación en la que la apelación de alexproh-17 fue denegada sin revisar todas las pruebas presentadas. disneyshopper parece implicarse en la conversación, pero no se proporcionan detalles adicionales en las respuestas.
I am looking for advice regarding a recent appeal that was denied.
I purchased an item for approximately $800. The tracking number provided by the seller shows “Delivered,” however I never received the package.
The proof of delivery photo provided by UPS does not show my door or property. The package in the photo also does not appear to match the size of the item I purchased.
I submitted these photos and explanations during my appeal, but the appeal was denied. It appears the decision was based solely on the tracking status showing “Delivered.”
After the appeal was closed, I contacted UPS and was informed that I am not listed as the recipient associated with the tracking number provided by the seller. UPS was unable to confirm delivery to my exact apartment/unit.
My concern is that the evidence I submitted was not fully reviewed and that no evidence was requested from the seller proving delivery to my address.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation, and what is the best way to request a supervisor review or further investigation?
Thank you.

OP4 months agoThank you for your reply. I went to the UPS branch today and asked an employee if he could provide any information, including whether it was possible to track the package via GPS, but I was told that they couldn’t do that there and that I needed to call a specific phone number, which I did. I gave my address and full name and asked them to verify the information. I was told that the recipient and address didn’t match, and they couldn’t provide any further details. I also asked for an official response to be sent to my email, but they said they couldn’t do that because the address and recipient didn’t match. I will, of course, try to stop by again and request GPS confirmation without providing any details—just whether it matches or not.
At this point, I have sent an email to eBay asking for a supervisor to review the case, taking into account all the evidence provided previously as well as the new evidence.

Mentor4 months agoTake the tracking number down to your local carrier's office and have them check their GPS for where the package was delivered. If it was NOT addressed to you and your address, have the clerk state that on their letterhead. They don't need to state the name/address attached to the tracking number, just that it was not addressed to YOU.

Explain that the seller is using fake tracking numbers
Include these phrases:
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller use a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
