Appeal a defect that is obviously wrong
I shipped three items with the same tracking number in the same box. Two received a late shipment defect and one shows shipped on time. The package was delivered within 5 days. If I was to apply the same metric to all of the orders I have shipped within the last month, everything would be late. When they make a determination there is no way to contact the department. These late shipment defects also stay on your record for a year. Even if the shipper is at fault.

OP3 weeks agoNot helpful at all. Both the orders have the same tracking, but received different shipping evaluations. I'm not sure the people who respond to these appeals read them. Then you cannot reach anyone in their department.

Adding a tracking number to additional sales
- Go to the Sold section of My eBay. https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
- From More actions, select Add tracking number.
- Add, edit or delete the tracking number and the carrier.
- Select Submit.
If eBay won't allow you to put the same tracking number on other orders:
You should mark the item as shipped from the drop-down list to the right, here:

Then, if you wish, you can gently encourage your buyer to leave feedback for you. (Being too pushy can backfire.)
✓ Your money will be released eventually, 30-60 days, even without tracking or feedback.
For the Future
- If the buyer pays for more than 1 item separately, you can combine the orders before selecting a label using the "bulk shipping" tool on the browser.
Put a check mark to the left of your items on this page

Select "Shipping" above
On the next screen it will ask if you want to 'combine' the orders. Check that box.
Enter the weight and dimensions for the package and print your label.

Regarding seller level
Tracking uploaded on time and validated is 90 days
Late shipment rate is 12 months unless you sell 400 items per quarter
OR
if you buyer reports the item arrived on time when leaving feedback, the item is marked as shipped on time
