Anyone seeing chronic Fedex "adjustments"?
I'm about to ship a Fedex package, and it may be my last time. About half of my Fedex packages seem to get a shipping adjustment. I use the same scale and ruler to measure Fedex packages that I use to measure UPS and USPS packages. I'll be the first to admit that I could make a mistake every once in awhile. But, for some reason, this only seems to happen with Fedex, and not other carriers. The package that I'm sending today is $2 cheaper through Fedex Ground, and $8 cheaper than USPS Ground Advantage. Since this package is free shipping (to buyer) on a low margin item, I need every$$ I can get. If this one comes back with an adjustment, I'm DONE with Fedex. Anyone else having this problem?

Mentor6 months ago@texasmantiques. I can say that FedEx surcharges happen often enough that I made this macro for replies:
Only eBay customer service can file the dispute since they are the Fed Ex customer. I recommend contacting CS on social media to ask them to do this. Keep in mind that Fed Ex does sometimes add incorrect surcharges but there are CORRECT surcharges that you can read about on the Fed Ex website.
Personally if I have an item that is too large or heavy to ship via USPS then I use UPS and buy the label from PIrateship.com. Pirateship helps with insurance claims and surcharge disputes. UPS does have a list of valid surcharges on their website too. UPS does not add surcharges as often as Fed Ex does.
Here's how to contact eBay general customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Request a call back
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

OP6 months agoThanks so much, I'll give that a try. Time spent on disputes is time away from more profitable ventures.
