Anyone have a issue with a item they didn't receive after getting a notice of a later delivery date

Question

I never received a item then learned it was supposedly delivered the day before the date in which I got the notice. I got a notice saying it would be delivered in Jan to learn it was delivered Dec 11 yet I got the notice Dec 12 stating the item would be delivered a Jan 6 and never got it.

Items you purchase through your eBay account can be reviewed for tracking status which is information shared between the carrier and eBay, the Seller only provides the tracking number when they ship the item. Messaged information from a Seller is subjective and the only info that counts is the actual tracking history.

If tracking shows it was delivered, either in December or January but you do not have it then it was an elaborate False tracking number scam and below is what we advise members:

Really sorry that happened ... the date you want to keep an eye on is the original estimated delivery date. One day past that is when you can process a claim.

You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

(if you are outside the 30 day window and still do not have the item you will have to file a dispute with your funding source, PayPal , credit card, etc.)

You can file a claim via the item in your Purchase History that you did not receive your item one day past the original estimated delivery date and up to 30 days after that. Follow the steps in the claim and they will lead to an eventual refund.
