anyone get multiple emails before receiving item?
Summary: nutrit95 reported receiving three unusual emails after ordering an item, which contained Asian characters and asked if they liked the color of the item, despite no color choices being available. They noted the seller's positive feedback but found the emails suspicious and sought verification from eBay customer service to ensure they were not subjected to a hack.
I ordered an item Sunday. On Monday, there were 3 emails containing Asian characters (see below), showing a picture of the item, and asking if I liked the color (there were no color choices/only 1 color shown), but I responded "yes."). It occurred to me later that even though the seller has 98% positive feedback out of 17 reviews, it's odd to get a note like that. And although the note may be legit and I didn't click any of the links (it showed the identical ebay page including several links to View Product Info, etc.), I am asking you, Ebay live customer service, to please verify that I didn't just open myself to a hack.
