Anyone else experiencing immediate outbidding the moment you place?
Tried to buy the same dvd from two separate sellers and the bid goes up the moment you place your own. However the date of the highest bid never changes, sounds rigged to me.

It simply means the first bidder has bid an amount above the opening bid.
Not rigged. It’s how eBay has always worked.
