Anyone been hung-up on and lied to by Ebay Support Agents?
I have! I have been on Ebay since 1999, and recently had a buyer leave a neutral that he changed his mind about and wanted to revise it. Unfortunately he lost the email request I sent him, and both of us spent DAYS sending emails and speaking with human agents at Ebay. Several said it would be resolved. Guess what?
It hasn't, and the 10-day window expired.
I HAVE BEEN HUNG UP ON BY AGENTS, AND LIED TO WHEN THEY SAID A SUPERVISOR WOULD CALL ME BACK THAT DAY.
Anyone else ready to move on to another platform as a result of the incompetency Ebay exhibits?

To directly answer your question, I have never been hung up on or lied to by anyone from eBay.
eBay allows a Seller five feedback revision requests per calendar year. You are currently at four. You have 100% feedback now. Your Buyer lost your feedback revision request and that is not the fault of eBay.
eBay has been making changes to how they handle requests to remove neutral or negative feedback. There is a form on their site to request removal.
I get that you are angry at eBay, even though it was your Buyer that lost your email. eBay has always been reluctant to remove neutral feedback. You have the option to respond to it.

OP2 years agoObviously you either didn't read or understand my post. I know who's fault it was that the email request was lost, but when multiple "customer service" employees from Ebay tell you that it will be corrected---to both me and the buyer--then we have a problem.
When I am told and promised that a supervisor will contact me and then DOESN'T, we have a problem.
Ebay is doing nothing more than honoring a request from both the buyer and seller to correct a mistake, and doing so days before the 10-day expiration for the revision request ends. I don't want to hear about how reluctant they are---they are reluctant only when the buyer/seller doesn't request it.
If you need help understanding this, get help.
