Anyone actually getting money back from the "Fedex bug"?
I got hit with an "underpaid" label fee again.
Original dimensions and weight
4.69 lbs, 12.5 x 16.3 x 12.5 in = $14.45
Fedex says it's actually
4.60 lbs, 13 x 16 x 13 in. = $23.90
with what they're calling "billable weight by carrier" at 17 lbs
So, why is the ebay calculator not giving us an accurate shipping label fee at purchase, then hitting with "underpaid" charges due to their miscalculations, nearly 2 weeks after the items been delivered?
Also, If I put in Fedex's dimensions today it still comes out about $1.50 more, not $9
The last "underpaid" showed both mine and Fedex's numbers to be exactly the same, adding an additional charge of nearly 80% the original label, when even if I upped the dimensions and weight, it still does not show that high amount.
Customer service will say they're entering a dispute. But, we get no confirmation that one has been entered though ebay is quick to notify you on literally anything else. Ebay customer service calls would be halved with just the addition of an automated response transcript or confirmation of what was discussed during any of these calls.
So, what's going on ? Don't use Fedex?

You should be credited if you are impacted. eBay is still working on it and I've asked for more information.

RESOLVED -root cause has been identified, and resolution is underway. All impacted customers will be credited for any erroneous FedEx label adjustment costs. At this time we don't need any other customer examples.
