Any way to do an exact keyword search?
First, I know why eBay doesn’t want this. I would like to search for just the keywords I want in an items title. My main problem is in searching for vehicle items. It’s usually something g custom and I don’t want to put in the specified vehicle. I just want what I’m looking for. It used to be you could put it in quotes, but that doesn’t seem to work anymore.

Mentor2 years agoThere is no "title only" search -- by default, eBay will provide results with your keywords in the title or item-specifics. There is also an option to search the entire description if you check a box.
To avoid unrelated items when searching car parts, limit your search to the automotive Parts & Accessories category, or the specific category for the type of parts you are interested in. The more specific your search, the less irrelevant stuff you have to deal with.
Some automotive parts sellers take advantage of eBay's search of item specifics to load up their listings with spam keywords that have nothing to do with what is being sold, so you may have to take additional steps to limit your results.
Try including some additional information. Using quotes around a single keyword can help, as can grouping several keywords together with quotes.
Try excluding an entirely unrelated make, model or year that has nothing to do with what you are looking for to remove listings that have a laundry list of those things included in the item-specifics.
Consider using filters: New/Used, OEM brand vs. aftermarket or unbranded.
If you can provide an example of what you are looking for, someone may be able to provide some actual search links as a starting point rather than just general advice.
