Any updates from sellers whose sales went to 0 after implementation of the new EIS program?
I'd like to hear from sellers who noticed that their sales went to 0 at the same time the new EIS program began implementation. For me, my store went to 0 sales for 3 months in a row, so I started searching forums about it. I found many sellers experiencing the same problem and they had targeted the implementation of the new program.
After seeing many sellers felt there was a back end glitch with the program (which there was and maybe still is), I joined some fellow sellers and turned the new international shipping program off in my listings.
Sales started to trickle in shortly after opting out of the program, so at least my store is paying for the cost to run it now, but that's it, no profit.
My two questions:
1. Has ebay been updating any of you as to where they are in fixing the running of the new international program and its affecting of stores?
2. I used to sell in the Global Shipping program, it worked well for our store; I miss selling internationally, but
I fear going back in at this point unless whatever glitches there have been solved. Should I wait just a little longer before trying again? (Global shipping sales were about 35% of our sales in the past).
Any thoughts or recommendations from sellers who are working on this same issue would be great!
Thanks for listening.
Teresa
P.S. I've been selling on ebay for 15 years now; been through alot of ups and downs but NEVER 0 sales, ever. So this was and is a tough one to solve.
