Another seller using my images
I found an Ebay listing today where the seller using my Etsy listing image as their main photo. Not just my image but it includes my Etsy shop name as well as my price (for reference, I suppose). His only other photo is the back of the light fixture which is filthy. He does not show what the front of his fixture looks like. Do you think I own the images I post on Etsy? I did ask the seller to remove that image from his listing and it may be too early for him to have seen it. I tried to report it to Ebay - but my posting continues fail.

Mentor1 year agoIf you check the user agreement for both sites you probably will find that you no longer own the rights to anything placed on the site. I have found my photos used by other sellers and this can work to their detriment. Since what they are showing in the photos will be different than the item that the buyer will receive they will probably face an "Item not as described" case and have to make a full refund.
