Angry buyer didn't read the description
Hi - I am dealing with an angry buyer that is upset that the cord was not included with the item. The description clearly stated "power cord not included, sold as is". They are saying "no one reads the descriptions". I don't feel this is my error but I don't want this one buyer to affect my sellar rating. Advice? Thx

Mentor2 years agoThere is no ‘as is’ on eBay - if it doesn’t work as intended, which it can’t without a cord, then you list it for parts only. Used means it works. Definitely point out the flaw or missing part in the title.
I would apologize to the buyer and ask if she wants to return the item (at your expense), or perhaps you can offer to buy a power cord and have it shipped to her - that might be less expensive than shipping x 2.
So many buyers use the app, not a computer that your buyer is correct - most don’t read the description.
