An unusual situation
Long story, which was resolved in my favour...
I purchased an item that was misrepresented in the description and was unable to request a Refund during the "window" period, so I filed as dispute with my credit card company and the charge were reversed.
I'd like to return the merchandise to the Seller, no longer have their address and do not want to pay for shipping to a foreign country.
What do you suggest doing?
Thanks for your help!

If it needs to go to a foreign country, your seller may not want it back, depending on the value.
Message the seller and ask if he wants the item returned, and if yes, he will need to send you the money to pay for the return. If you have a PayPal account, you can give him your email address and suggest that he sends the money as a friends and family transfer. Otherwise, you might have a hard time finding a way for him to send the money.

OP2 years agoI appreciate your reply.
I've tried to contact the Seller on numerous occasions and they do not respond. The value of the item is $500

You would think he would want it returned, but it sounds like doesn’t. I would set it aside and wait a bit. Then send him one last message, explaining that if he does not arrange for return by x/x ( pick a date), then you will donate the item to charity.

OP2 years agoI've had the item in my possession for 6 months. I'll send him another message and see that happens.
Thanks!
