An order that got lost
I ordered a nice pair of boots from ebay. The seller shipped them Fedex. Fedex delivered to wrong address and can not seem to get them back. I have documentation from Fedex. I have spoken to ebay a few times and they have done NOTHING. Ebay has told me they would take care of this as a courtesy and then did not. The seller I am sure insured them and I did not get that money either. Now I am out over $200 and feel screwed. What to do?

Did FedEx confirm that your name and address were on the label?
Or did they just confirm that the package was delivered elsewhere?
FOR FEDEX
You can usually find the weight and other details for FedEx here:
https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html
Then click 'View More Details' to see the package weight. Screenshot that.
Does the shape of the package and the weight shown conform to the pair of boots?
When I know the answers here I can provide you the next step.

OP5 months agoThe receipt says 5.45# which seems right. The address and name shipped to is correct, the fedex employee just gave to wrong address. I filed a claim with fedex and they said they could not get the woman to return the package. They were Allen Edmonds, so I know why. Packaging is 16x15x8 and this seems right. The seller insured them for 100 not the sales price and the 100 is included with the freight charge.

I would contact the seller again and advise them to file a claim with Fedex for the misdelivery.
It the seller is uncooperative, I would file a chargeback with my payment method.
IMPORTANT - you are going to need lots of documentation about the misdelivery to avoid your credit card closing it for 'item delivered'.
