Do not continue selling through your brother’s eBay account or replace his banking and tax information with your own. Submit eBay’s Reporting the death of an eBay member form so eBay can guide the executor or authorized family representative through the active listings, orders, payouts and account closure.
If you are legally authorized to sell the estate’s property, you may be able to end the existing listings and relist the items through your own seller account. Whether the sale proceeds can be used for final expenses depends on the estate process in your state.
