An eBay item was accidentally delivered to me
An eBay order was shipped to me at my home address. However, the item was not ordered by me, and the packing slip inside indicates it was intended for someone else at a different address (and in a different state). I assume the seller must have sold something to me in the past, and somehow confused my address with the intended one. The online eBay support options don't address this issue, and the online chat assistant refused to connect me with an agent; nor was any support phone number or other contact method found. Since I don't have an order associated with this delivery (even though I have the actual order number on the packing slip), it doesn't appear that I have any way to contact the seller or get help from eBay. Any advice would be appreciated.

Mentor2 years ago@aa060406 Can you close the box up neatly and mark it return to sender?

OP2 years agoThank you. I could do that, but since the sender enclosed a packing slip I'll just forward it to the person/address specified on that.
