Amex not gonna work??
I tried to contact ebay directly, but the system just wants to keep looping me back to FAQ type info and it seems impossible to write directly to them, so I am posting here. I have been an EBAY user since 1996- that is 28 years. Attention EBAY management, please figure out the deal with AMEX, so I can continue to use my AMEX card on EBAY. I get it, AMEX charges more, But I will be buying less stuff on EBAY if I can not use AMEX. I think this happened several years ago. Listen EBAY management, EBAY is not what it once was. Seems messy for sellers, to good to Bad Buyers and now this AMEX issues. Uh, dumb little things that I bought on EBAY will now be bought on AMAZON Slime, and the EBAY sale I have been planning for the last year will more likely happen on FB market place and (yuk) Craigslist. Oh well, you were once a great community.

Mentor2 years agoDo you have a Paypal account? If not, open one, and specify Am Ex as your default payment method. Then when you make a purchase on ebay, you specify Paypal as your payment method.
