Amazon Style Searching
Team Ebay,
One of the best things about your service is/was that when I searched for specific things, for instance, Thule 3101, you would return exactly what I was looking for. If you didn't find what I was searching for, you returned that fact.
This morning I noticed that besides Thule 3101 parts, within my search I received a bunch of unrelated Thule things. I don't like this behavior. This is one of the reasons I try not to use Amazon because they seldom return items I want and always return items they want. Please do not become Amazon.

Mentor3 years agoIf a search that has worked well previously suddenly starts behaving badly, often the problem has something to do with a faulty keyword substitution or an inappropriate automatic category navigation issue.
You can bypass many of these sorts of search issues by putting one of your keywords in quotes. This forces eBay to bypass the "smart" features and to search for the literal keywords without any substitution or category switching. You may have to manually specify your category once again.

Using a desktop browser, find the "Feedback" icon that appears in the lower right corner of the search results page to let eBay page developers know about your search issues.
