Amazon requiring a 6 digit passcode
I had ordered an item on eBay that came with UPS tracking information. UPS tracking info says it was delivered at the “front desk” and that it was received by “Applebees”. I thought it was tracking fraud until an Amazon flex driver tried delivering the item but they’re requiring a 6 digit passcode to be delivered. I spoke with an Amazon customer service rep with the flex driver there and the rep said they’re unable to leave the package with me without the passcode that I don’t have. Where do I go from here?

Contact your seller for the code.
If the seller doesn't have the code, or you are unable to get your item, please reply back here, so I can offer some next steps.
(ps, does your eBay order have a tracking number that shows as delivered by UPS to Applebees?)

OP5 months agoI reached out to the seller and he just got back to me with a code I guess we’ll see how delivery goes today hopefully the code is still valid and doesn’t expire after a certain amount of time. And on eBay all it shows is that it was delivered in my city. It doesn’t say where to.

OP5 months agoWell a different Amazon flex driver showed up last night and asked for the 6 digit code so I gave the one I was provided to her and it was invalid like I thought it would be. So I explained the situation to her while I was trying to reach out to the seller to hopefully have them respond quick enough to get another code but the flex driver basically said she didn’t care that she was leaving the package with me anyways. So I guess it worked out but it could’ve not.

It was a seller who was dropshipping which is against eBay policy.
I am glad you got your item.
If you want to report the seller

OP5 months agoThanks I figured that’s what it was when I was looking into it. I’ll definitely report the seller because it was a very frustrating experience not to mention the fake tracking number that shows it was delivered when it wasn’t which I’ve read can be hard to fight to get your money back.
