Amazon Echo DOT model received is not the model listed.

Question

I recently purchased an Amazon Echo Dot which was listed as "3rd Generation". When I opened the package I discovered that the model of the Echo Dot is the "2nd Generation" model. I am trying to decide what to do with the item. Should I return it or keep it and live with an older model? The seller may not have know the difference between the two models and the price was low enough that all profit for the seller will be gone if I return it. If you decide that you are not happy with the older model, it can be returned through eBay's return process at the seller's expense for a full refund. Then you can purchase the correct model from another seller.

If an item arrives but is not as described, then the buyer can file a "not as described" return within thirty days.

If the seller does not provide for tracked return shipping, refund the buyer directly or refund once tracking shows the item has been returned to the seller, after three business days, the buyer can ask eBay to step in.
