Am I living in the twilight zone?

I'm selling items from the estate of a friend who's dad passed away. A buyer purchased a book from the estate. Unfortunately when I went to the home to ship the item, the housecleaners mistakenly threw it away.

I explained this to the buyer and provided a full refund. She then leaves a negative review stating I was selling something I didn't own. And I am unable to have this negative review removed.

Correct.

The buyer is allowed to leave feedback based on their buying experience.

It may not be â€œnice,â€ but it is their right to do soâ€¦ and the buyer said nothing that is apparently untrue (based on your post here), so why should it be removed?
