Am i being scammed?
I'm selling a watch. Someone bought it and immediately sent me a message that said:
"Hi! I just bought the Shinola Runwell Jackie Robinson Watch 49/442 + box set - brand new and RARE from you. I’d like to change the shipping address because my dad is in the hospital and I have to move out of town to take care of him. The new address is in the attached picture."
the buyer's address was in PA, the new address is in Delaware with a completely different name. Is this a scam?

Mentor10 months agoYou are required to ship to the shipping address provided by Ebay. If you were to send it elsewhere, you would lose your seller protection.
Have you verified that it actually your buyer that sent you the message? Compare user names.

It might be, but it might also be legit. Either way, you are required to ship within your stated handling time to the address provided when the buyer pays, so this is what to do...
Cancel the transaction (using the option next to the order) using the reason that there is a problem with the buyer's address. Then relist the item and provide the new item # so he can repurchase it with the correct address. Remind him to edit the address when he checks out.
