Alternatives to Paypal
I’ve been buying and selling on eBay since 1998. In the last 20 days or so, my PayPal account has been hacked twice for over $1000.
When I contacted PayPal, I spoke with a “representative†who was not conversant in the English language and likely did not have the brains God gave lettuce.
I’ve accepted that eBay is one of the leading examples of what is now known as En**bleep**tifaction. But I’d like to continue buying and selling stuff, but I no longer have any confidence in PayPal. My own bank advised they’ve lots of hassles with PayPal. So I ask: are there alternatives to PayPal when using eBay to buy or sell items.
Let me add: with all my heart, I genuinely hope eBay goes the way of Howard Johnson’s and Sears Roebuck, great companies that ultimately treated their loyal customers as dirt. Only then, will a better alternative arise.

Mentor8 months agoYou are not required to use Paypal as a buyer. There are many payment alternatives, look at the your listings to view Ebay's payment options.
As a seller, your funds will go into the checking account you have on file with Ebay. You should know that since you have sold items/are selling on Ebay.
