Almost Hacked
So I paid for an item and then noticed the shipping address was NOT my address! I quickly changed passwords and canceled the order (even though I DID want the item). Worked it out with the seller for him to approve the cancel then I rebought with my correct address. so did I catch someone trying to steal my account in real time? The shipping address was all that was changed. My passwords are different for ebay and paypal, but I changed both just to be sure. anyone else ever had this happen??

Mentor1 year agoPossibly someone gained access to your account briefly but was not able to use it to make a purchase or to list an item, so instead settled for changing your default shipping address to a freight forwarding address hoping to catch an order or two of yours before you noticed the change.
Others have not noticed in time and have not been as lucky.
