Mentor2 weeks agoDid the original listing have an option to purchase the Allstate plan? If so, I believe they will send a message offering to sell you the plan after purchase if you did not purchase it at the same time you made your item purchase.

OP2 weeks agoYou made it sound sooooo eeaasssyyy. I called the number you gave. An excellent clear and concise AI voice. it understood my question and sent me a text message link to the "help.squaretrade.com" site. I then chose "Getting A Plan". That sub-topic "Getting a Plan" came up on my phone with a message: No knowledge base articles found. Thus, that phone and the square trade site itself is of no help. I contacted the seller again -- they wrote me that they cannot offer the plan after the purchase. As my offer was a "bid" and the seller "accepted" the bid, the payment was automatic from Paypal -- thus no opportunity for me to purchase the plan. I've already wasted waaaaayyy too much time going in circles. Seems there has to be an easy way to do this or eBay should post: "if you "offer a bid" on an item, you probably will not be able to later purchase a protection plan."
