All my eBay Standard Envelopes Show as "Tracking Not Available" on USPS.com

Question

I am shipping single sports cards, and every time I ship one using eBay Standard Envelope, the tracking always shows as "Tracking Not Available" so I never know if the item arrived. What has others sellers done to make sure the tracking is working correctly?

Are you taking them to the Post Office and handing them to a Postal Clerk or are you just dropping them in a box or mail slot somewhere???? While the Postal Clerk can't scan the codes at least you know they got into the USPS system.

ESE is NOT door to door tracking and the ONLY scanning that can happen on the code is on a highspeed mail sorting machine. The last scan is done one stop upstream int eh postal system on a mail sorting machine upstream of the Post Office for the Buyer's ZIP Code.

If Buyers claim they have not received their item you refund them and then pursue reimbursement via eBay per the process explained on this Hel Page: eBay standard envelope | eBay
