AI generated photos for clothing display
Hi. I cannot find a policy for using an AI generated model wearing a piece of clothing I want to sell. Does ebay have one? I am new to selling clothing and I am seeing a bunch of new sellers using AI generated photos. I'd like to use them too, but only for certain listings that I think a buyer might need to visualize a garment. Thank you.

Mentor4 months agoI do not know if there is an official policy regarding AI generated photos, but I would use one at the END of the photos, saving the first photos for the actual photos of the garment and leaving the AI generated photo as the last photo.

OP4 months agoThank you. I have had some issues with ebay regarding ridiculous things the last two weeks, so I am extra sensitive about everything now. Selling clothing is a new account, but I have an older one which I have had zero issue with since 2008. This new account, they have done everything to discourage me from selling, even to the point of deleting my entire account. I got it restored, but I lost every listing and had to start over. Now they have restricted my account for id verification, which I would have done if they had just sent me a simple email. But no, the entire holiday weekend, I will not be able to sell anything. Ebay is frustrating the heck out of me.
