Agents never seems to be available
I moved from US to Israel and wanted to change my account. I was tole that I needed to close my US account before I could open one in Israel. That took over two months. Finally I am able to open a new account, but when I put in my credit card info, a red message pops up to check that my address is correct. It is, but the system will not allow me to continue, I tried to reach an agent, but I can 't get passed the useless AI. Although I am doing this between the hours of 9am and 6pm CDE, I am still receiving an message that agents are only available between those hours, but apparently they are not. Help. How can I speak to a human that can assist me with this problem, or do I just give up on EBay. Also, I have aPayPal account, so why did I have to open a Payoneer account.

OP1 year agoI was trying to use the Chat agent. But although the time is right, I get messaged that they are not available.

OP1 year agoI don't have a Facebook account. I sent a message on X, but have not received a reply.

·1 year agoI set up a Facebook account just for that purpose, without any real information provided on the Facebook account. X works just fine, though, so you should be in good shape. Replies can take a while, but you'll get good answers typically.
Just note that it's normal for them to send you a link that asks you to sign into your eBay account, which lets them verify they're talking to the account owner.

Mentor1 year agoYou cannot call ebay.com; you can request a call back, but only in North America.
eBay no longer uses PayPal to pay sellers. Not all countries use eBay's Adyen payment system, so you may have to use Payoneer in some countries if you sell and want to get paid.
