After using e bay for 6 months, I cannot log in anymore and do more listings..
Whenever I want to list something, or change the price of some items - then these
letters come up on top of the page (in red background) - maybe you can help to fix that ?

OP8 months agoDoes not make sense - as I have a 6 month experience with it and sold some coins in that time. And to get even more experience with selling I should have access to the ebay account so that I can continue, but as I can't - I cannot gain enough experience - I do not see the logic here.. And I was not told that when I started with ebay.

Mentor8 months agoIt is a recent change of policy to combat the many fraudulent collectible coins listed by new seller accounts. You will likely need a hundred or more successful transactions and a thousand dollars worth of sales before you will be able to sell certain collectible coins, now.

OP8 months agoInteresting, so because some have committed crimes with fraudulent coins - the majority of those who never committed this kind of fraud will get penalized ! A=A=A -
This is one thing
The other thing, how can I demonstrate to have hundred or more successful transactions and a thousand $ worth of sales when I not even can log in and put more listings in ?

Where did the logic go and where the common sense ?

Mentor8 months agoAre you saying you are unable to sign in at all?
If that error message is preventing you from signing in, you will likely have to contact eBay. Try reaching out to eBay via social media direct message:

OP8 months agoNo, actually I can sign in, but I cannot put anymore coins in there or change the prices of already existing coins of mine in ebay. And I still can sell coins, which exists already - but cannot put in any new ones..
So I have to look for alternatives to ebay now for selling coins...

eBay has recently begun insisting sellers meet certain requirements in order to sell some collectible coins.
https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/products-eligibility-requirements-policy?id=5271
If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be able to list new items in that category or edit your current listings.

You won't be able to sell those particular collectible coins on eBay until you have enough experience selling something else, first.
