After the fact payment
Hello!
I purchased some refrigerator water filters from eBay. After not receiving a confirmation email or anything after the purchase and it taking longer to receive the items than originally expected, I contacted my credit card company thinking I had been scammed. They credited me the $31.12 from original purchase. However, just yesterday, I received a confirmation email and then the package showed up today. I’m a very honest person and would like to make sure the seller gets paid. What is the best way to go about this. I think I either need to contact my credit card company and have them reissue the payment, or contact the seller and pay it by phone. As it stands, I got 4 filters free and that is not how I operate. I want to get the seller paid.

Mentor1 year agoYou are correct, and thank you for being honest. Contact your credit card and have them give the money back to the seller. THANK YOU for being so honest.
I would encourage you to write a note to your seller too and explain this.
