Advice needed: How to correctly invoice US Tariffs to US buyers when shipping from Norway?
From August 2025 until today (1 January 2026) shipping to US from Norway through the postal service has been suspended due to technicalities on how they are to collect the US tariffs and fees.
So now the system is in place where you (the seller) need pay the tariff (15% for Norway) and a $3 fee in addition to the shipping cost when creating the shipping label. i.e. before shipping, but not part of eBay checkout.
How to I correctly get this paid/reimbursed by the buyer?
Via Paypal? and make the information available in the item listing?
